Original brown blindstamped cloth with gold title centred on boards. Dedicated to "The Rev. Gentlemen, late of the Anglican, now of the Roman Church, and those halting between two opinions." The Rev. Ffoulkes was an acknowledged leader of this group. The arguments of the day were the same as those of centuries earlier, centred on The Lord's Supper and Baptism. Both endpapers missing. Somewhat soiled and foxed, but unmarked and easily legible. 247 pp.
