2 Bird, Will R. North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment
Fredericton, N.B. Brunswick Press 1963 Believed First Edition Hard Cover Very Good Fair Photos
The words "North Shore Regiment" still ring with pride 50 years after this monumental tribute was written. Often overlooked and undervalued, the Tommies, the Chaudieres, or North Shores made their lasting contributions not only at Normandy, but at many battles across Europe. A fellow Maritimer and regimental historian, Will Bird, gives credit where it is due. Follow them from Arras in 1917 to Northwest Europe in 1945. DJ looks as though it's been through a war. The book is clean, sound, and unmarked except for the previous owner's name. 629 pp. plus 10 maps. Heavy book will need extra postage.
