Laid in are handwritten notes apparently written by the owner at a presentation in Ottawa, dated the same day as the book was signed by Del Tredici. A sobering photo essay which tells the story of one nuclear plant accident and its frightening effects upon those who lived nearby. Apparently the "accident" was caused by human error - first, by not obeying the rules of procedure and later, by assuming that a pilot-operated relief valve was closed since the lamp attached to it was out.
