Large format paperback with colour cover and illustrations. For me, a fascinating introduction to an art collector from Arkansas, daughter of a congressman, lover of horses, and world traveller. The theme is an exhibition at McKissick Museum, University of South Carolina, but if you read the fine print you will appreciate not only her art collection, but also her tremendous spirit and love of people. I could not help noticing that she attended Ohio Wesleyan University (about 30 miles from my home) and that she mis-remembered the first name of the 14-year-old black boy, Emmett Till, who was murdered in 1955 in Mississippi (in my book, one of the most grievous crimes of history). Price tag carelessly removed. 84 clean pages with no writing.
