Everything you ever wanted to know about every place in Scotland! These handsome navy volumes have gilt lettering and Art Nouveau decoration on the spines. The covers feature a gilt version of the Scotland Coat of Arms. These books have been used, and all have wear at the tops and bottoms of the spine (see photo). Volume 2 is completely broken between pgs. 320 and 321, but the signatures are still firmly attached to the covers. The edge of the map of Dundee in this volume is also frayed due to careless cutting by the printer (border only, map not affected). The rear hinge of Volume 5 is cracked. The front hinge of Volume 6 is starting. The colour fold-out map of Scotland in the back of this volume has a 2 1/2" tear in the border where it is glued to the endpaper (map not affected). We found no other damage to any other maps or plates, and no evidence of any missing. Each book is 300+ pages. These books are heavy, and will require extra postage and insurance. They are on consignment, so no discounts apply.
