Original black cloth on boards with geometric diamond pattern and white lettering and decoration. Book is clean except for inscription and signature of author. Seven poems in French-Canadian dialect. MacDonald is said to have been more popular than Pauline Johnson or Robert Service in the 1920's. He was an excellent promoter and stage performer. He is honoured by a museum near Selkirk in Haldimand County, Ontario. 46 pp.
