Original brick-red leather-like cloth on bevelled boards, no DJ. Gilt spine lettering faded. Covers have faint green spots similar to mildew. Interiors clean and readable. Hinges were very badly broken, so have been liberally glued to hold together for gentle reading. Hunt was a friend of Shelley and Keats. Keats even wrote a poem about Hunt's release from prison, where Hunt had been confined for his written attacks on King George IV. Hunt is also the author of the short, simple poem, "Jenny Kissed Me". Vol. I has 334 pp. Vol. II has 290 pp. P.O.N. in pencil. TEG.
