Original blue cloth lettered and decorated in gold on boards. The cleanest copy I've seen of this perennial favourite by one of Canada's most famous Irish emigres. Written in a French-Canadian dialect, with Introduction in French by Louis Frechette. Original owner's signature and address in ink, dated Xmas 1899, as well as the last previous one. No other writing and no damage. 137 pp.
